A day at the cottage at 9 Perry Street: An early riser can walk right to the Promenade and watch the sun rise over the ocean. Stop at the corner restaurant at Beach & Perry; order take out to eat on the enclosed or open porch overlooking the ocean. Go to the beach just 68 steps away. Lunch at the indoor & outdoor places across from the beach and around the corner from the cottage. After the beach, enjoy cool refreshments on your oceanview outside porch. Make dinner reservations at the many restaurants you can walk to from the cottage and stroll the Washington Street Mall just one block from the cottage. For late night fun, cross over to other side of the street from the cottage to the Congress Hall Hotel for dancing and don't worry about driving home. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean waves!

• Six (6) bedrooms, all queen size beds, sleeping twelve (12) people
• Each bedroom has its own full size bathroom — four (4) with walk-in shower, two (2) with claw foot tubs that have shower attachments
• All bedrooms have a mini-fridge, small TVs, window A/C, and ceiling fans
• One 2nd floor bedroom has 2 ocean view porches — one glass/screened enclosed & one open
• One 2nd floor bedroom has one ocean view open porch — another 2nd floor bedroom has a bay window looking across to the beach & ocean and there is one 2nd floor very large bedroom right as you reach the top of 1st floor stairs with no ocean view but is good for those who do not want many stairs to climb
• Both 3rd floor bedrooms have the same panoramic beach and ocean views
• First floor entrance to house has two ocean-view porches — one enclosed and one open
• Both porches have tables and seating for dining and refreshment while looking across at the beautiful ocean view
• There is also a large parlor with big screen TV and gas fireplace for Fall and Winter stays
• Dining room has two (2) tables with seating for 14 and is next to kitchen with two refrigerators — one with door front for cold water/ice
  
• Next to kitchen is a laundry with washing machine & two dryers plus cleaning supplies and vacuum
  
• There is an outdoor enclosed hot & cold shower with dressing area
  
• And we have a large onsite parking area that will fit six (6) cars

Our location is just steps away from the Jackson/ Perry Street Beach and across the street from Congress Hall Hotel. We are one block to the famous Washington Street shopping/restaurant/nightlife area.

Kings Cottage is a historic 1878 house and while staying here you will feel you are in an upscale B&B, but you will have the house all to yourselves.
